Muldoon Britton has been instructed by a number of parties that are now in a dispute with Bright Buy limited and numerous parties connected to the sales of former Ministry of Defence houses.  The properties needed substantial alterations before they could be classified as residential properties, and as such could be mortgaged.  The seller of the properties arranged for the solicitors, brokers, lender and builder for the buyers.  The builder was incapable of undertaking the work, but the solicitor had failed to identify that the builder was required under the terms of the lending agreement despite that the builder was incapable of undertaking the work.  The entire development failed.  Muldoon Britton has been instructed by a number of those impacted by this scheme, with a view to very shortly issuing proceedings.
