Michael Muldoon - Partner
Michael is solicitor and one of the firm’s founders. He is very experienced and runs a strong commercial ligation practice with a particular emphasis in banking and financial services matters.
In addition to this, Michael has experience in a broad range of dispute resolution, with particular interest in matters involving professional negligence, board room disputes, personal and corporate insolvency, injunctions as well as property litigation.
Michael regularly litigates claims in the High Court and Court of Appeal and has taken cases to the Supreme Court. He acts for a variety of clients form private individuals to plcs and has many international clients.
He is admitted a foreign lawyer in New York and also holds an Irish Practicing Certificate, allowing him to represent clients in the Irish courts.
Away from work, Michael enjoys spending time with family, football, golf and horse racing.

- Defending a high value bankruptcy petition with actions running in parallel in the UK and Irish courts.
- High Court and Court of Appeal professional negligence claim with losses exceeding £25m.
- An application to annul a bankruptcy order relating to alleged debts in excess of £20m.
- A number of claims against banks relating to LIBOR manipulation and derivative misselling.
- Successfully applying to set aside a freezing order.
- Instructed in two of the UK’s most significant case in relation to mis-selling of payment protection insurance leading to a successful conclusion in the Supreme Court.
- Defending a high value property litigation claim concerning the home of a well-known premiership footballer.
