UK Sole Representative Visa Success Story – Permission to stay in the UK
We have recently been successful in securing our client with their further leave to remain application on the basis of their entry clearance as a Sole Representative of an Overseas Business.
The Sole Representative visa category closed to new main applicants on 11th April 2022, however those that had been granted under this category can still apply for leave to remain/ Indefinite leave to remain under this category. To successfully be granted leave to remain under this category the applicant must have established and registered the branch/ subsidiary of the overseas business they represent.
The business must have and intend to continue to have its headquarters and principal place of business outside of the UK. The applicant must also be engaged in full time employment and must supervise the registered branch or wholly owned subsidiary that they have established. They must also show that they are still required by their employer to continue their role.
Our immigration team prepared a successful application for a U.S national and his dependents. Our client and his respective family members have been granted permission to stay in the UK under this category.
